Between 1988 and 1989 he offered more than 160 concerts accompanied by orchestra

After his first period, between 1980 and 1987, devoted to the recitals –that is only he and his guitar on the stage – Rolando Saad started to offer concerts with orchestra. He performed mainly in Spain, but also in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Portugal and Russia, with concerts which tributes to the Spanish music and the guitar. In those performances, the guitar of Rolando Saad acquired strength and expression and learnt how to dialogue with the other instruments of the orchestra.

In that new period of his career, the guitarist performed with recognized orchestras, principally from Eastern Europe, as the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sofia National Philharmonic Orchestra. Also he had the opportunity to perform with some of the best conductors of that moment, Yehudi Menuhin among them.
